Magic Of Horses
Magic For Horses

Improving the Quality of Horses Lives Through Educating People

Hi my name is Karen. I discovered the MAGIC OF HORSES and riding 7 years ago. It was love at first sight and it became a life changing experience for me.

I have spent so much time looking after and learning about horse's and not really fulfilling that passion that was burning inside me so I started working towards gaining qualifications in how to look after our equine friends. So far I have qualifications in ABRS Stable Management and Riding. Completed an NVQ and have a certificate in Riding & Road Safety and First Aid.

However, the love which was given to me so freely from these beautiful creatures made me realise I had to find a way of giving the magic back.

Earlier this year I, along Peter and Rachel from Trueman's Heath Riding School began our journey with Kelly Mark's Intelligent Horsemanship. During this 5 day course we enjoyed the wonderful JOIN UP process with various lovely horses and we also discovered various other ways of helping our equine friends. In particular I found Equine Touch, a discipline that is non invasive, non diagnostic, working through energy and connective soft tissue which works at a complete holistic level. That is, it addresses the equine as a whole.

I have completed 2 levels of Equine Touch and am currently an advanced student. Obviously to become a practitioner in this field I will need to gain experience with as many horses as possible. Although we have a wide range of horses at Truemans Heath, I would like to meet as many horses that I can which I am not familiar with. As an advanced student I cannot charge for my services but would be able to Body Balance your horse and apply Equine Touch as needed. All you need to do is inform your vet and get their permission. This is normally a formality as most Vets approve of Equine Touch.
