We pride ourselves in being able to offer help and instruction in:
Stable Management and how to look after a horse, (qualifications available)
Novice adult riding (learning the magic of riding)
Children's lead rein lessons (these lessons need to be booked well in advance as they do get full)
Special need rides (with the assistance of a carer)
Children's birthday parties.
Adult coffee mornings.
OUR AIM IS FOR PEOPLE TO FIND THE MAGIC OF HORSES AND TO MAKE THE WORLD A BETTER PLACE FOR BOTH OF THEM TO LIVE IN.
MEET THE TEAM
Peter Coleman
Peter is on the back row because he is a little shy when it comes to photos! His current riding school has been in Shirley for nearly 25 years and has proudly taught hundreds of people how to ride. His talent with horses is endless, from starting the very young to looking after veterans. We all believe he can actually read the horses minds.
Rachel Dudley (Center front row)
Rachel started riding at Trueman's Heath at a very early age and has been a part of the school for over 20 years. She is now the Riding School Manager and is currently teaching young people the MAGIC OF HORSES amongst many other things.

Laura Desmond - Head Groom and owner of Sting a Hanovarian x thoroughbred grey gelding. Laura may be small in stature but she is a giant in horsemanship! All the horses think she is fab and look to her for leadership
Rachel Pearson - Rachel is the very proud owner of Harry. He is a Piebold gelding who has the most stunning facial features. Rachel does not teach any lessons but works very hard to look after the horses. They love her gentle approach and trust her 100%
Ross Copland - Ross is working towards gaining his Intelligent Horsemanship qualification. He is currently working with the riding school horses to bomb proof them!
Olga - Has her own horse called Karema. She teaches the Saturday afternoon lead rein lesson which gets very full!
Fiona - Fiona's favourite horse is Rocky but basically she loves them all! These days she is only at the riding school in the holidays as she is at university.
Lil Lau - The life and spark of the riding school. She has helped to bring on the younger horses and teaches the intermediate children's lesson.
Karen Johnson - Karen is committed 100% to horses. She is the very proud mother of Ravanelli and Casper (you can see her at the top of each page!) She loves teaching stable management and how to care for horses. She also teaches the lead rein lessons.
